My name is Jo Simmons and I have been involved with administrative tasks such as customer service, phone, computer and fax usage for over 20 years.
The reason I became a VA was that I love helping people! I obtained a BA degree in Human Services from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell SD in May 1988. From that point on I started working in the Human Services field for the next 16 years working at the state level.
In October 2004, I was named the Managing Director of eWomenNetwork for Sioux Falls, SD. eWomenNetwork is a networking organization for women business owners and entrepreneurs who have a giving first philosophy. We must give first in order to receive. What a valuable gift that is! Through giving first you are also networking and helping others to achieve success.
Through the whole process of networking I learned even more about Virtual Assistants and what a valuable asset they are to entrepreneurs and business owners. I was going to hire one myself when I decided just to jump in and open my own business of being a VA. Since that time I absolutely love helping my clients succeed in their businesses. It is my goal to make your business run smoothly so you can work “on” your business instead of “in” your business.
